Self-storage is a facility where individuals or businesses can rent storage units to store their belongings, such as furniture, documents, and other items.
In order to lease a storage unit at Boxed Up, you can pay online, over the phone, or stop by one of our seven locations. Once you’ve paid, you will digitally sign the month-to-month lease agreement and your individual keypad access PIN will be generated for you. You can then access the unit at any time during the facility’s operating hours to store or retrieve your items.
Self-storage units come in a variety of sizes, from small lockers to large rooms that can hold the contents of an entire house. The most common sizes are 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, 10x15, and 10x20.
At Boxed Up, we have storage to fit any budget. Whether it’s a 5x5 climate-controlled unit, or 12x40’ RV storage, our units offer the best value in self-storage.
You can store almost anything in a self-storage unit, such as furniture, appliances, clothes, books, documents, and even vehicles. However, we cannot store any perishable food items, explosive or flammable items, or weapons of any kind.
At Boxed Up, security is our #1 job. Our well-lit facilities feature locking gates with unique PIN access and 24/7 video surveillance.
All of our leases are month-to-month, so you can stay for as little or as much time as you need.
Many of our locations do offer 24/7 access, but please check the website for specific restrictions, and hours when a manager will be on duty.
While it’s not required, it’s recommended to have insurance for your stored items. We offer insurance from the leading provider in self-storage, for your peace of mind.
If you’re having trouble knowing the size of unit you need, you can always call or stop by, we’re happy to help you find the right unit size to store all of your items, without paying for unnecessary space.
